Today, I wanted to share how I roc'd out my $20 outfit. I purchased these wide leg pants over the weekend for 9.99 at Simply Fashion, yes I said it, Simply Fashion. You guys, I can shop anywhere. I am the type that could walk in a store, see something so plain and get an idea for it. They also had them in Cobalt blue and those who has been following me on YT already know, if I like something, Im the one who would buy all the colors, lol. Guess what? I love the 1950's pinup look. Its something that breathes Classy & Sexy. I remember watching Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Lucille Ball, Joan Crawford, (telling my age, lol) and the like sporting these hairdo's on tv and thinking how in the world they accomplished that look. Back in the day, you literally had to be in Hollywood or the surrounding area to get your hair like this. Of course being a black sista, we were sporting our afros & puffs Anywho, I just wanted to create the look using my locs. Let me know what yall think aight, PEACE!

Today, I want to take time to congratulate Ms. Janelle Monae on making the front page of Cover Girl. When it comes to Janelle Monae, I really appreciate her sense of style, her hair is always fierce and on several occasions I wore that style. She known for her Pompadour, her black & white tuxedo outfits & white oxford shoes. She is definitely a trendsetter at least in my eyes so this is my way of paying homage to her.
