Today, I don't know, I was feel'n some kind of way and decided to dress up. I guess I got a lil bored with myself and wanted to play dress up. Today, I wanted to get in on the trend of sport'n my faux fur. Mine consist of a vest, hat, and hand warmer, which is also a purse. I purchased it from my local Beauty Supply Store. They also had the leg warmers, which I opted out of getting. I absolutely fell in luv with it while it was on the mannequin, which is what drew me into the store in the first place. I paired it with a long sleeve "T", a pair of Levi's and my granny boots. It kinda put me in mind of the Beverly Hillbilllies, lol, I still luv that show. Granny was a mess. Today, I am so proud to be an American right now. I mean our people showed up and out and I am not just talking about black folks. It took all races to have him win. I thank everyone who showed up to the polls, especially the first time voters because it is important to vote. For a long time, I would not vote basically because for one, I could not see myself there as a black women or as part of the black race. Not to sound racist, it was only one person we could vote for and both parties were always white. Now, Im hoping to see a women, hispanic or what have you. They do not have to be black but at least someone who cares for the people who makes it all happen for America. To Congress, you only make laws, when it comes to fulfilling the laws of the land, it is the American People who make it happen. Congress, especially Republicans, please take a page from President Barack Notebook... Anywho, I am showing you how I celebrated President Obama re-election thru fashion and sharing some parts of his speech. Please be encouraged and lets not stop here. As President Obama stated, there is still work to be done, still challenges to face. Celebrate but keep this in mind, we have to have his back thoughout the next four years, to heal our land. Im asking everyone to deep a little deeper into politics, know what's going on so you do not be caught off guard as to where our nation is going and stands as a whole. Hi Ladies & Gents, Today, I decided to serve you some food for thought... I am so tired of hearing people calling Christians fake, I don't know what to do. For the record, we are not fake but on different spiritual levels. Let me explain...Paraphrasing, I'm going to use schooling to set my example. In school, you have your elementary level, Jr. high, High, College, and then you move on to your Career, Mid-Career, and then Professional. It works the same way when it comes to Christians and their walk with Christ or mentality levels. When you start church, you come in as a babe in Christ. A babe in Christ is the one that displays acts such as, lying, cheating, smoking, drinking, partying, etc. They are only praying, God has just started to work on them. Then they move on to Jr. High. There, you may still see some of these signs but one or some of them have stopped... Remember, God is not through with them YET.
Now, we move on to high level. Now, at the high level, along with praying, they added reading the Word more and God is really showing himself to them. You will also see that more signs have stopped. In addition, they are being rewarded for their faithfulness up to this point. So now, God may have bless them with some things they have been believing him for, such as a new car, some place to stay, schooling, etc. Then you have the college level, this is where you are praying, reading the Word more, wanting to be in church when the doors are open. You are on fire. You are going to bible study, whenever it is held. You joined a ministry such as; ushering, greeter, choir member, children's teacher, etc. and they will continue to see blessing.
Moving on, you have your career level, these are those who daily pray, read the Word, serve on a committee, now they have taken on discipleship, weaning out people who will go out into the world to spread God's message. Now, we have the career mid-level, these are those who welcome all things that God will have them to do and are looking forward to moving onto the professional level. They are established, doing all the things mentioned above and receiving more blessing. Lastly, you reach the professional level. These are those who are going to follow God regardless of their circumstance. They are going to do what God has told them regardless. These are your pastors, priest, teachers, bishops, prophets, etc.
Keeping in mind, what you just read, the same things happen in the natural. When a child is born, he/she is breast or bottle fed. They are still a babe. Its not until later that they learn to crawl, pull up, walk, skip, jump, etc. Its always a process. Its the same way with God, nothing happens in a instant. Therefore, when you encounter a Christian, before you call him/her fake, examine them to see what level they are on, especially when joining a church and looking for someone to hangout with. You want someone who is mature. Most gravitate to those who have similarities to their own. This mindset can stop you from growing. In addition, my Christian sista's and brothas, please stop calling each other fake. Unlike the world, we should know better. We know that there are stages and if we do not, perhaps, we need to study a little more. This type of behavior turns people especially young people away from the church or make them leave prematurely. Thus, missing the blessing that God has for them. There is just too much bickering going on and although we are on different spiritual levels, God asks us to show love to one another, Period. On the subject of sharing the Word on Youtube and I am only mentioning this because I have a channel on there. There are many who think, the Word/Bible should not be shared there. I am asking myself why. In this day and age, there are not many who go door to door anymore and most churches that goes out into the fields, only do it once a month. People are dying and without hope. Someone has got to reach them! What better way then social networking. With this said, Youtube or any other online social site is the best place for it. It is where you can reach most people since we have moved away from conversing face to face to a social network society. Jesus did not stay in one area when he was delivering the Word, getting people delivered from bondage's and healed. When he could not do the job himself, he sought out twelve disciples to carry out his affairs, so many would not lose out. Youtube is a great place to share the Word. Lastly, sadly to say, there are false christians and prophets in the world. They are not even fake. These are those who come into our churches, soak up the Word/Bible and then go out into the world and distort it. I call them, "Deceivers." We have people in the world who has been assigned to deceive you. You remember the angels that was kicked out of heaven's rim, the one-third with Satan, this is them. Their assignment now is to deceive and distort God's Word and if you are not reading your bible to find out what the Word says about it, you will be deceive. Even in Jesus days, you had people who did not receive the Word even after seeing the miracles of people being healed, delivered and set free. They just continue to harden their hearts. Do not be like this.
To my brothas and sista's who want to be a Christian but for the reasons listed above, you decided not too. Please, do not allow that to stop you. God loves and want to be a blessing to you. However, you must keep in mind, its a process and get around mature people when and if you decide to join a church.
