SPIKES & HEELLESS SHOES

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I decided to match up my spike blazer and leggings with a saphire blue crop turtleneck and heelless shoes. I have been contemplating how I wanted to pair the blazer & leggings. While shopping, I came across the heels and thought I will pair it together to see how it looks. Personally, I think I could have done better although I like the look. Actually, it looked better in person. I have a new cam, yayyy, lol but still toying with it. Anywho, enough of my rambling. Njoy the pics and thanks again for stopping thru. Much luv, Peace!

MIX'N FAUX LEATHER & PRINT

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today, I just decided to pair my faux leather crop top over a printed long top. I added leggings and my over the knee boots to create this look.  Actually, I was feel'n kind of bored and did not feel like creating a video which is what I normally do and upload to YouTube. I think its a cute casual look for going shopping, movies or on a lunch date. Anywho, hope you all like it. As always, Thanks for stopping through. Much luv, Peace!

I ABSOLUTELY LUV MY PRESIDENT

Hi Ladies  & Gents,

Today, I want to first give my condolences to the families who lost their babies and love ones in the tragic massacre which took place in Newtown, Conn. There is really no words to express what I and others are feeling around the world. However, I want to say how much I luv my President. I feel he is a True Man of God, a humble man. Some will argue the point saying, he is Muslim or whatever. But Muslim (true Muslims) I know respect the communities, their wife, and the like. I have never seen a President cry over a tragedy or cared for the people as much as he does.  Extended his hand to other countries to be a friend and not a foe...Yes, I am sure he is limited to what he can do for all mankind. For reasons I will not get into. Anywho, this is what put the icing on the cake. I just felt so moved that he took the opportunity to respond to the coach.  See letter below:

Dear President Obama,

The Newtown community is so thankful that you are coming to help us heal. In times of adversity it is reassuring to know that we have a strong leader to help us recover.
- Steve George, Teacher/Football Coach
- Bobby Pattison, Teacher

You're in our thoughts and prayers.
- Barack Obama
Granted, Obama's salvo was brief, but it was still powerful in its brevity. Most importantly, it said what all Americans have said, all they can say in the wake of such an unspeakable tragedy. Newtown is in everyone's prayers.

In this case the president didn't appear to be responding in his official role. Rather, he seemed to be writing as a father of two young girls. There is no mention of the word "President" in his response. Perhaps that is because he felt it wasn't needed. Perhaps he felt it wasn't important.

MIX'N AFRICAN PRINT & FAUX LEATHER/FUR

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today Im sport'n my African print headwrap, faux leather skirt, and fur. Lately, I have been really feel'n African prints with everyday style trends. Luv the combination. I even designed a few of my own. Also, I purchased some African print earrings. Lets just say, Im feel'n African right about now, lol. I have seen the style all over Tumblr, YT, Facebook, etc. Just wanted to get in on the action. Hope you all like how I styled it. Anywho, Christmas is fastly approaching. Have a blessed one and please remember, Jesus is the Reason for the Season for real, so lets not say, happy holiday but Merry Christmas, Peace!

ANOTHER DASHIKI CREATION

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today, I'm continuing on with creating different designs out of my dashiki dresses. I can honestly say, I am really njoy'n it. Who knew I could do this...I luv fashion yes but creating looks such as this and the last one I created was far fetched from my mind. I think watch'n Project Runway really open up my insight regarding fashion and plus some back in the day looks. However, I always had a knack for luving different patterns and/or designs.  This is a prime example as why people should follow their dreams, no matter what age you are. God can take that little nothing (to you) and turn it into something! Anywho, njoy the pics and get busy creating, PEACE!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: CREATIVE JUICES FLOWING

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today, I am showing you how I created a head wrap, blouse, and a pair of leggies out of a dashiki dress. I purchased these dresses from a vendor in my local area and luv'd them when I first laid eyez on them. I luv the idea of sport'n them while wearing locs. That sense of freedom is somethang, lol. I wore these dresses for about two years and decided it was time to do somethang else with them. Thus, I came up with this idea. I still have three more of these dresses in different colors in my closet with hopes of designing them with other clothing in my closet. The first pic will show you how the dress actually look. I hope you like how my creative juices flowed, dang, that sound kind of freaky didn't it, lol. Anywho, Njoy the pics!
