What Up Ladies & Gents,
Today I am showing you how I styled this African print skirt. I have been wanting to add some African prints to my wardrobe for a while now but have not because there is a price that comes with buying African fabric or clothing online. Hmm, I wonder why? People are always promoting us to buy from blacks, I mean Afro Americans, lol, but I need them to make the items at least affordable for my pockets. Any of yall feel that way? I know a guy from Ghana and he has the hook up and the prices were still high even from his own people, the ones he knew. Anywho, moving on, lol. I styled the skirt with a faux leather peplum top. I have a couple of faux leather tops but decided on this one. Side note: For all my YT homies, I think I will do a Faux Leather Haul. Next, I added a pair of strapped ankle heels that I purchased from Rainbow, yall already know they are not real leather however, I still like them because they have these studs around the ankle strap. I like the heels with ankle straps, basically anything that make these little ankles appear thicker will work, lol. Also, I added a pair of red diamond shape earrings and a cobalt blue belt. Well, I hope you like how I styled them. Thank you for supporting my blog and if you like it, please share with others. Much Luv, Peace

CHRISETTE MICHELE INSPIRED LOOKBOOK
Hi Ladies & Gents,
Today after listening to Chrisette Michele new CD and seeing the video called, Love Won't Leave Me Out. I have decided to put together a lookbook wearing similar styles she wore, of course putting my own personal spin on it. Also, I do not think I look like her. She is just one of my favorite female artist hands down and although she does not get the credit she deserves, she is worthy to be in the top amongst the others like Beyonce, Rihanna, Jill Scott, and the like. Chrisette is very classy, stylish and is in a league of her own. Her vocals are powerful, no studio help needed. Although I have all her Cd's, my favorite is, Let Freedom Reign then Epiphany. Lets just say, I luv this chica. In regard to the outfits, the first consist of a kimono top in which I used the sash to create a hood since I rarely buy any pieces of clothing with a hood. To me they are a distraction, from a visual perception. Anywho, the second outfit is a swing dress, I added a pair of red cross earrings, red belt, and a pair of red strapped ankle pointed heels. The last outfit, I wore a black cami, a cropped black blazer with spikes on the shoulders, a pair of gold n black rose vine print leggings, and a pair of strappy heels. I must add, although I do not wear leggings much, I love these leggings. They are not only comfortable but high waisted. If you are looking for a good pair, these are it. As always, the pics are below and thank you so much for your continual support of my blog. Also, if you frequently visit my blog, please share it with others and please know, I welcome your feedback/comments. Much Luv, Peace!

What Up Ladies & Gents,
Lets see, where do I start, lol. Well I have been seeing people do back to school lookbooks on YT (YouTube) so I wanted to get in on it. It been a long time since I have been in school but from time to time, I will take some type of online course just to keep my skills sharpen. Anywho, I decided to come up with three looks. I took some of my old pieces and mixed it with a couple of new pieces. I will do that in a heart beat. My first outfit consist of a long tunic shirt, black jeggings, a pair of oxford heels and flats, an orange and a white bandanna I tied like a bow, and a satchel handbag. The second outfit, I wore a galaxy top, faux leather skirt, a pair of booties, and a satchel handbag. The last outfit which was my favorite because it is the most comfortable is this love sweat shirt, faux leather jeggings, and a pair of wedge sneaker. On some of the pics, I wore a pair of heels as well. I hope you like the pics and as always, Thanks for rolling with a sista...Much Luv, Peace!

PUTTING THE BODYCON DRESSES TO REST...
What Up Ladies & Gents,
The time has come for me to put my bodycon dresses to rest. Well, lets just say, wearing them as a dress because I got me sporting them as tops to go under a blazer with a pair of pants/jeans. Yep Yep! This bodycon dress has graffiti all over it that reads, Zap, Bam, and Kaboom. However, the fact that it was black and white is what gave it that added touch especially since those were the in colors this summer. Anywho, I want to thank all of you for rolling with me while wearing these lovely pretties. It been a stone groove, lol. Lastly, thank you for your continual luv and support! Yall already know, the pics are below. Much luv, Peace!
