Hi Ladies & Gents,
Today I am rocking this jewelry head piece. I have been seeing ladies rocking head pieces such as jewelry and flowers. Most wore them on straight or relaxed hair and so I wondered how they would look over my locs. Therefore I purchased about four since they only cost me a dollar and fifty cents. I got them in silver, gold and pearls, three different designs. I'm feeling them and think I can incorporate them in an outfit or two while they are still hawt or trendy. Today I am showing you all my Christmas look, where did I go, NOWHERE, lol. I'm serious. My hubby has been sick with an injury and I thought I will dress up for him, cook him a nice dinner and chill. I must admit, it made him so happy. I was invited out for dinner but I could not leave the hubby behind. Anywho, I'm sporting this black and grey dress with faux leather quilt sleeves. A touch of the quilt is at the hem as well. I thought this dress was really cute. I first saw it online but before purchasing it, I wanted to see did my favorite store have it and guess what, they did. I'm still waiting to see if they get this faux leather jacket I have been eyeing. So yeah, I'm out here trying to be sexy and all, lol. I added a pair of over the knee boots then some spike booties. Yall know how I do sometimes, gotta give you two or three looks. I even let the locs down, yall I was turned up, lol. I rarely wear my locs down, I tend to pin them up some kind of way or put it in a ponytail. Well, yall already know the story, the pics are below. Hope you like how I style the dress. Today I am showing you all some headshots I took while wearing my tiger shirt to make a run to the store. The shirt was purchased from Rainbow. Some of you may have seen it, especially those who follow me on YouTube. I styled it with some jeans last year. Anywho, I was bored and decided to created some looks around it. This is my first time ever doing just headshots. So lets say this is my tamed and untamed looks, lol. You can tell I was bored huh. I could have done something but yall I was just tired and needed much rest. By the way, how was yall weather today? In the DMV area, we had really nice weather, it was at least 70 degrees with mild winds. It felt so good out there to be the first day of winter. I can do this the rest of the year, lol. For you all that have last minute shopping to do, please be safe out there. Unfortunately, we have people who are up to no good, watching to see who slip up, so keep that third eye open. Today I am showing you all how I styled this sweater dress. The dress was purchased from Olive Ole. I know lately you have been hearing me rave about this store. They tend to have nice trendy pieces at an affordable price. Plus it saves me money from shipping cost when ordering online. The store is only ten minutes from my house. Anywho, I styled it with a pair of burgundy wooden earring, cognac boots, cognac/brown bag and top it off with my mustard color coat. Lastly, I added a belt to give the coat a little pop. The dress was made in several designs which included a turtleneck and cow neck. Surprisingly, I did not get them all because that is usually what I do. I thought since I have the jogger sweater pants in that print as well, that will do. Question, yall like my hair? I get so many compliments when I style my locs like this. Today I am showing you all how I styled this cable knit sweater. Yall, a couple of weeks ago, I walk into my local thrift store and found all these beautiful sweaters and guess what, all of them were marked down to two dollars. Yes, you would have thought I hit the lottery, lol. We use to wear these sweaters back in the day. About a week before going to the store, I saw Tom Brady wearing an all white one and his team mates were teasing him. I thought he looked good in it. Anywho, I got all excited and was like, don't tell me they making a comeback because I loved them then and love them now. I could not believe how many colors I found in one store and in one day. Plus, they are the nice thick ones. After getting these, I think I am done buying sweaters for the winter. I already had a couple of trendy sweaters that I had purchase prior to visiting the thrift store. You guys, I'm telling you, God's Favor is something else, he never cease to amaze me when making purchases. Someone is always giving me a deal and rarely do I ask. Also, I think it is because I am always giving away clothes too. You do reap what you sow. With that being said, take a look at how I styled it below. I created 3 different looks. Long time no see from me huh. I have been so busy, hubby been under the weather so I have been holding down the home front. Anywho, I have missed you guys, still buying thangs but have not been able to do a video and post pics. Also, guess what? I am now on Instagram, yay, lol, so follow me there. I am under, "Locsetc." and yes I will follow you in return. So okay, what am I wearing today. I am wearing these knit mint green pants that I purchased back in the summer from Gussini for $10. I had to get them. They also came in lavender, cobalt blue, green, and black. I must admit, I got all the colors. Come on for $10, you cannot beat that. The fit is so comfortable, almost like legging but they are not. They actually have front and back pockets which I love. The platform booties came from them as well. They are running a buy one, get one half off sale and they have some really cute shoes especially their boots. The top was purchased from what has become my favorite store called, Olive Ole. The top came in a cream white, burgundy, and nude color. To be honest, I am old school so I was one who would not have worn mint green in the winter but hey, I like the fact that today's ladies have changed the game. No holes barred for them. They even wear white. Now I got to say, Im not there yet. I would wear the cream/ivory white but not white. That is just my preference. Anywho, As always, the pics are below.
