MIX & MATCHING FABRICS, THE SAGA CONT'D

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am still trying my hands again at mixing and matching fabrics and/or prints. This time around, I chose a pair of solid color red pants but mix the top portion by adding a white top with small black speckles all over it and a striped red and black tie. I also lowered the tie to give it a little more edge. I spent about an hour trying to find pieces out of my closet to pair up so I hope you all like what I chose. I came up with about three different looks altogether. I am sure I will come up with more doing the winter months.

To complete the look, I added a pair of black heels and once again my jelly bag. Don't worry, I putting it to rest soon, lol. However, I love it because it is so roomy in the inside. I put my heels and other stuff in there while going to work, no longer carrying two bags. My accessories, I kept to a minimal by only adding a pair of white button earrings. My locs are pulled back into a ponytail. Well the pictures are below, hope you like them. Thanks again for the luv & support. I appreciate it. Much Luv, Peace!

STYLEN A PAIR OF TRIBAL JOGGERS

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am sharing how I  styled a pair of tribal print joggers. Actually these were from last year although I never wore them. Basically, I purchased a couple pairs similar, that was of a thinner fabric. Like with many of the items I buy, some get pushed way back in the closet. I am sure this happens to a lot of my fashionistas, lol.

To complete this look, I went with a button down shirt with a faux leather asymmetrical vest over it, and a pair of rider boots. As for my accessories, I added a pair of wooden leaf earrings and a MK bag. My locs are style in a loc ponytail. Well as you already know, lol, the pictures are below. Thanks again for the Luv & Support. Peace & Blessings!

STYLEN A LEATHER VINTAGE CIRCLE SKIRT

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today, I am showing you how I styled this leather vintage skirt. I found this skirt at my local thrift store for $7, can you believe that. It's genuine leather too. I hurried up and threw it in my cart after trying it on. It's a circle skirt that buttons down the front and has a buckle on the back waistband. To complete the look, I went all the way vintage with it by adding a button down shirt which I fastened from the neck down. In addition, I added a beaded brown necklace, brown button earrings, and a pair of thigh high wedge boots. My locs were styled in what I call, "the Betty Boop look."

For those who want to know how I achieved this loc style, I section my locs, applied a little setting lotion (Motions) on them,  and rolled them on sponges rollers overnight. Next, I slid the roller off the sponge and pinned it in place using Bobby Pins. Some of the sections I did pin together with a long bobby pin because the curl was tight enough to hold several sections. I hope you got that, lol.

Well,  the pictures are below. I hope you like how I put it all together. Thank you so much for stopping thru and showing me love. Please share with others if I have inspired you. Much Luv, Peace, & Blessings!

A MORE PROFESSIONAL LOOK

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am sharing a professional look. Let's just say, this would be an outfit fit befitting for a law firm and/or courtroom, etc. Every now and then, I like to sport a more polished look. Although I am an Office Manager, our dress code is kind of laid back so I can get away with a lot. Of course I try to always keep it classy. My look entails a beige two piece suit. This is on one of my favorite suit. I love the way it falls on me.

To complete the look, I choose a fushia button down shirt. For my accessories, I added a pair of silver/fushia chandlier earrings and a pair of cowgirl boots that also have fushia designs embossed on them. Again, my locs are pulled back into a ponytail. Well as you know, the pics are below. I hope you like them. Thanks again for the luv and support. I really appreciate it. Peace & Many Blessings!

STYLEN AROUND A CROCHET KNITTED TOP

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you all how I styled this crochet top. This top was purchased from Rainbow. I thought it was different and cute. It is nude in color and has small holes so you can see though it. Therefore, you will need a camisoles under it. Also, it ties around the neck and is high in the front and low in the back. It is definitely a classy little top. To complete the look, I added a pair of black skinny pants and a pair of metallic boots. With this look, I kept my accessories to a minimum, I only added a pair of wooden black earrings and a black watch.  Once again, my locs are pulled into a ponytail. This is one of my go to lazy day or cold weather styles, lol. Well that's a rap for this look. In addition, to those of you who do not know, I am on IG at locsetc. I post there daily. Most of the time, I post the outfits that I wear to work. Well, as you all know, the pictures are below. Thanks again for the continual love and support. I appreciate it. Peace & Blessings!
