A SUMMER BUT FALL LIKE OUTFIT

Hi Ladies and Gents,

Today I am showing you how I created a style around the beautiful day we had. It is actually the middle of October and we had this 75 degree weather. Therefore, I decided to put something together that will reflect that. I decide to use an African print skirt I had as a top over a pair of faux leather leggings.

The skirt was purchase from Rainbow and the pants from Styles last year. I enjoy taking old clothing and seeing how I can create another look from it, allowing my creative juices to flow. Also, this winter, you will be seeing some old with the new. Expect lots of fringe and capes, which is trending right now.

To complete the look, I added a set of beaded bracelets, a cuff bracelet, a belt, and a pair of shoe booties. My locs are placed in two high ponytails. Lastly, thank you for stopping thru. I appreciate it. Much Luv, Peace!

ANDROGYNOUS LOOK

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you something a little different from me. This is my androgynous look. Guys are starting to wear long T-shirt over pants and adding another shirt over top. I have seen mostly a plaid shirt, sweat shirt, or a jacket draping over the long T-shirt. Therefore, I decide to take a shot at it. Some guys actually wear it well although some refer to it as a dress.

To complete my look, I went for a t-shirt dress and faux leather top that I purchase during the summer from Olive Ole, and a pair of jeggings. My accessories included a wooden/beaded bracelet, fringe bag, which is on trend this winter and a pair of studded sneakers. My locs are hanging on the side and back. I do believe, I will rock this look again this winter.

I hope you were inspired and will come up with your own spin on it. Thanks again for your luv & support. Much Luv, Peace!

DARING TO BE DIFFERENT (MIXING ANKARA PRINT W/TRENDY PIECES)

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I recreated another look. Since last year, I have been trying to tie African/Ankara prints in my every day wear. I absolutely love Ankara prints. They are so rich in color. I hope to make all of my Spring/Summer clothing using different types of the print. I started late summer making a few pieces but hopefully during the Winter I can make more. I had this pair of Ankara print legging that I wanted to try with a skirt. The first time I wore them, was under a pair of ripped jeans, which are posted somewhere on the blog, lol.

To complete this look, I went for a crew neck body blouse, faux leather circle skirt, chrome belt, tam hat and a pair of chunky heel boots. My accessories included a pair of wooden earrings, and a pair of wooden/beaded bracelets. I mixed my earrings, which I will do from time to time, just to mix it up a bit. On the pictures, the leggings have orange in them although it appears red. I guess I should use my quality camera huh, lol, y'all get the idea tho, which is the only thing I'm selling here, lol.

Well, the pictures are below. I hope you like my outfit and will be inspired to create something you will like. Dare to be different sort to speak.  As always, thank you for stopping thru, the luv is appreciated. Peace & Many Blessings!

STYLEN ANOTHER TYE-DYE DRESS

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am sharing how I styled another tye-dye dress. Again, this dress was purchased from Olive Ole. You will hear the name of this store a lot because it is one of my favorite places to shop. The difference in this dress is that it is short sleeve and of a different color.

To complete this look, I added a pair of button earring, a set of bracelet and a fringe belt. There are also pictures without the belt, which is the way I wore it the first time. I love how adding the belt took on another look. Fringe and capes are in this season so yes, expect to see me wearing them this Fall/Winter. My locs are worn down to allow my new growth to loc.

Lastly, Thank you so much for the love and support, I appreciate it. Much Luv, Peace!

STYLEN A TYE-DYE SHIRTDRESS

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am sharing how I styled this tye-dye shirtdress. I was attracted to it because of the colors first, then style. I love a fitted dress but also one that covers my whole body. I guess by now, you all know I am an advocate of showing women you can be totally sexy fully dress. You see back in the day, this said something about your character. Today, I still believe that. Yes, men love to see skin but when looking for a wife, most want the modest women even if they do not tell you that. The dress was purchased from Olive Ole, a local trendy store in my local area.

To complete the look, I added a floppy hat, and a pair of rider boots. Since the Fall was starting, I wanted to make it a Fall look. This dress can be easily worn in the winter as well by adding a blazer or long cardigan. Again, my locs are hanging. Also, I finally found a floppy hat that fit over them. So excited about this because I love hats and headwraps. The only reason you do not see me in many head wraps is because I cannot wear them at work but I am going to try to wear them more on the weekends.

Lastly, thank you for visiting my blog, the love is appreciated, Peace & Many Blessings!

STYLEN A CHIFFON MULTICOLORED SKIRT

Hi Ladies and Gents,

Today I am sharing how I styled this multicolored chiffon maxi skirt. The skirt was purchased from Gussini for $10. I fell in love the the colors and had to get it. I can shop almost anywhere for clothing and somehow make it work for me. I normally get a vision in my head of how I want to pair it.

To complete this look, I decided to add a black top and a few accessories. For the most part, I kept things to a minimum. You really do not need to overpower the skirt as it is the statement piece. The accessories includes some beaded bracelets, a black leather bracelet, threaded earring, and a pair of black & white chunky heels.

My locs are just hanging. I have been trying to let my new growth lock a little because I had too much. Well the pics are below, hope you like how I styled it. Thanks again for stopping thru and showing me love. It is appreciated. Peace & Many Blessings!
