NATIONAL DASHIKI DAY 2015

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I styled this dashiki tube dress. The day I wore this, it was National Dashiki Day, October 30, 2016. I had to get in on it because I am a big fan of dashikies. I remember wearing them in my teens. We all know that history repeats itself. I was blessed to wear it back in the day and see it come back around to wear it again. It was absolutely beautiful watching so many people on IG sporting their look.

The dress I wore was green and fushia and of course, I wore it over a T-shirt. This is typical of me, whether its a button down or t-shirt. It is just something I love to do. As a matter of fact. Many women stopped me on the street to say, they would have never thought to wear it that way. I love recreating looks.

To complete the look, I added a pair of wooden earrings and a pair of chunky boots since it was kinda cold outdoors. Don't tell anybody but I have a pair of jeggings on as well, lol. My locs are styled in an updo, I call it my Janelle Monae look, whom I love. Below are the pictures. I hope you like how I styled it. Thanks for stopping through, Much Love!

THRIFTED AFRICAN PRINT VEST

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I styled this African print vest. Yes its all about the vest, lol. I came across this vest for $2 in my local thrift store. I am a big fan of Ankara or African print. I am so fond of the print that I am going to make as many dresses and skirts as I can for next Spring/Summer. However, I did make at least three skirts this year. It is something about this print that scream royalty, pride, and freedom.

To complete my look, I added a button down shirt, wooden earring, a pair of slacks, chunky heel boots, which I am loving this year and a fringe bag. I am so into the fringe and capes this season. So be looking out for it. Just kind of waiting for the weather to get a little cooler. Also, my locs are just hanging. Below are the picture. Thanks for stopping through. I hope you are inspired. Peace & Blessing!

ABSTRACT SWEATER TUBE DRESS

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I styled this abstract  sweater tube dress. The dress was purchased from Olive Ole. I first fell in love with the colors. It's kind of funny because when I buy tube dresses, my intent is to never wear them without a shirt although I will at times. I like the versatility that you have with it.  Too me, a tube dress just give you that sexiness any way you wear it, whether it be worn as is, as a skirt or over a shirt.

To complete the look, I decided pair it with a button down shirt, wooden earring, chunky heel boots, and a fringe bag. My locs are placed in a high bun. Below are the  pictures of how I wore it. I hope you like it and are inspired. Peace & Blessings!
