STYLEN A STRAPPY FRONT BODYCON DRESS

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I styled this strappy front bodycon dress. It was purchased from my local thrift store for $4 which was a great steal. When I purchased it, I was going to cut it into a top but when I tried it on, I like how it fit so I stayed with the dress. However, later on, I might cut it. The straps are really what sold me. I saw a similar dress like this last year on Sammydress but they never had my size so I was excited when I stumble upon it and it was my size.

To complete the look, I added a headwrap, a pair of hoop earrings, a couple of bracelets, a clutch, and a pair of color block heels. It has been a while since I worn a headwrap. I almost forgot how to wrap it. We are not allowed to wear them at work so I kind of got away from them. Well, the pictures are below. I hope you like how I styled them. Also, thank you so much for stopping through, the love is appreciated. Peace & Blessings!

STYLEN A DASHIKI OFF THE SHOULDER TOP

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I styled this dashiki top. Let me first say that the top was reconstructed to an off the shoulder top since they are trending this season. Some of you know I have several posts wearing various dashiki pieces. This time around, I wanted to wear it a little different from the crowd. I decided to cut the top area a little and add elastic. The whole process took around 20 minutes. I started sewing last year but this year I decided to commit to it a little more. I only made three pieces last year. Also, because the shirt was kind of long, I wore it as a dress.

To complete the look, I added a pair of earrings, my bubble bag, and a pair of white booties. My locs are placed in a loc updo. The majority of my hairstyles are done by me, just a side note lol. Well, the pictures are below. I hope you like how I styled it. Thanks for the love, peace & blessings!
