ACT LIKE A LADY BUT THINK LIKE A MAN

Hi Ladies & Gents,

I went to see “Act Like A Lady, Think like a Man” this weekend and when I left the theater, there were a lot of people saying things like, that joint was funny, Kevin Hart was hilarious or that movie was like that. However, my perspective on it was, the movie was good but I could have waited to see it on DVD.  Don’t get me wrong, Kevin Hart was funny and frankly, if it was not for his parts, the movie would have been dry. The movie did show the different facet of the way a man think  but are we suppose to lower our standard to adjust to the way they think to keep them?  I think it should be the other way around especially since we know how to love and nurture. It’s in our makeup.  Men need only to be themselves, stop allowing other men to dictate to them, how they should be or act in their relationship.  This would definitely avoid a lot of heartache and pain.  Will the real men please stand up! Women simply want to be loved & respected, Period.  The problem is, so many have been hurt that they now think they have to shield their heart, both men and women. Therefore, they play these mind games to try and get what they want plus keep the man/woman.

I have always said and sticking to it, that when a woman first enters a relationship, the guy has one hundred percent of her love & trust.  I’m not talking about a woman who is on her second or third man, I am saying her first. It is only when she gets hurt, whether physical or mental, that trust and love begin to falter then the mind games start.  If men can love us like they love themselves, as the bible says, they can feel confident that the woman they chose to be with, will love and honor them.  With that said, why in the world should we act like a lady and think like them.  Finally, I am glad that his movie made number one because we all know how difficult that is for an Afro-American man.  What’s your take on this?  I like to hear your thoughts. HMMM, YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...

What up Ladies & Gents,

Today, Im showing you how I styled this YOLO (You Only Live Once) top. I like to add if you are good it's a possibility you might live twice, lol. The top is mint green and has a happy smile underneath of the logo. Anywho, I decided to style it with these black and white striped Genie pants which is what we called them back in the day. The split on the sides gave them just the right added bonus I needed to make the purchase. In addition, I added a pair of black wooden earrings and heels. Lastly, I decided to change my locs up a little. I wanted to go with a look that was tapered on the side and full on the top without cutting my locs, sorta like a high top fade with curls. CREATING AN OUTFIT USING A SHEET

What Up Ladies & Gents,

Today I was faced with a challenge to see if I can create a look using one sheet. One of my YT sista's is having this contest. After making two fail attempts at creating a dress that no one has shown, I finally came up with this. I was able to create this look I call, The Harem Dress. What I did is, turn the sheet in a diamond shape. The upper part, I tied around my neck, making somewhat a necklace, then turned it around toward the back. I then took the two sides and wrapped them around me. The middle piece, I brought it between my legs and sealed it in the chest area. And for those who question, if there are any cuts in it, the answer is no. Also, I added a belt, some accessories and a pair of black strappy spike heels. For real, I amazed myself, lol. This contest was right up my alley so I had to try it. Anywho, take a look at the pics below. Hopefully, you thought I was creative as well. CAN YOU SAY POLKA DOTS

What up Ladies & Gents,

Today, I am showing you how I styled this polka dot outfit. This particular day, I woke up and did not have a clue of what I wanted to wear, mainly because they called for rain. Normally on rainy days, I like to wear pants but overall, Im girly and in the summer I like to wear a dress, if that makes any sense, lol. Anywho, I have this polka dot wrap dress, which is usually my go to dress when I do not know what to wear. It does not require ironing, I just grab it and go. Then I have these polka dots pazzo pants, that I decided to pair with the dress. Also, I added a white/black polka dot scarf and an all red one and tied them together, making a bow. On my feet,  I added a pair of black sandals. Yall, I got so many compliments that day. I was like wow, I just threw this outfit together. So yeah, I had to come home and do an outfit of the day (OOTD) in it. For those who may be new to my blog. I also create vids on YouTube. SOME CASUAL LOOKS...

Today, I am showing you some casual pieces I wore  but never uploaded to YouTube. I decided to take a couple of pictures in them so they could see how I wore them, especially since I showed them in a haul video I created. For some of you, it may sound cra cra (crazy) but being a fashion diva on YouTube, if you purchase a good amount of clothing, we normally share what we purchased. You create a clothing haul video and upload it. Some of the pics shows me wearing a pair of black jegging and a high low cross top and the other ones, I am wearing a pair of white legging with a black & white high low top. I decided to pair them with my black open toe sandals. After updating my blog, I decided to create a video for YT. Anywho, the pics are below. I GOT PAZZO FEVER...

What up Ladies & Gents,

Today Im style'n another pair of Pazzo pants, I guess other than the bodycon dresses, this has been my second go to outfit. Most of the pazzo's I purchased this season had great colors in them, the designs were hawt so yeah, I had to cop a few of them. The pants were purchase from a store called, Olive Ole. I kept it simple, making the pants the center of attraction. I added my green coiled earrings which can you believe, only cost a dollar, yes hunni. I was quick to say ring them up, lol. They were purchased from Honeycomb. Also, I added a set of wooden bracelets, a boy watch, and a pair of black heels to complete the look.
