DARING TO BE DIFFERENT (MIXING ANKARA PRINT W/TRENDY PIECES)

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Today I am showing you how I recreated another look. Since last year, I have been trying to tie African/Ankara prints in my every day wear. I absolutely love Ankara prints. They are so rich in color. I hope to make all of my Spring/Summer clothing using different types of the print. I started late summer making a few pieces but hopefully during the Winter I can make more. I had this pair of Ankara print legging that I wanted to try with a skirt. The first time I wore them, was under a pair of ripped jeans, which are posted somewhere on the blog, lol.

To complete this look, I went for a crew neck body blouse, faux leather circle skirt, chrome belt, tam hat and a pair of chunky heel boots. My accessories included a pair of wooden earrings, and a pair of wooden/beaded bracelets. I mixed my earrings, which I will do from time to time, just to mix it up a bit. On the pictures, the leggings have orange in them although it appears red. I guess I should use my quality camera huh, lol, y'all get the idea tho, which is the only thing I'm selling here, lol.

Well, the pictures are below. I hope you like my outfit and will be inspired to create something you will like. Dare to be different sort to speak.  As always, thank you for stopping thru, the luv is appreciated. Peace & Many Blessings!
